No way to cancel double charges
Sometimes the credit card processing gets stuck in a continuous process loop. No confirmation page is served, but later you do get an email confirmation after your credit card is double-charged. The system should allow for cancelling a transaction within 5 minutes should an error like this occur. Even though I immediately contacted TheLotter, they said the ticket had already been physically purchased or already scanned. I doubt it. So, I paid $15 twice for the same powerball tickets.
